The continuation of the adventures of Fyodor and his friends from the Prostokvashino village.

Anatoly Novoseltsev is a mousy single father and office stumblebum working at a statistics bureau in Moscow. In the hopes of being promoted, he is coaxed into charming his disagreeable and seemingly unfeeling boss, Ludmila Kalugina, or "Meany" as she's otherwise known by her subordinates. Helped by his colleagues Olya and Yura, Anatoly attempts to ease the yoke of Ms. Kalugina, and what follows in the wake of his graceless manoeuvres is completely unforeseen, as he awakens a side to her not yet known, even to herself..

A Soviet cult cartoon, so untypical for a Western viewer, especially, a little one. A boy named Malysh ("A Little One") suffers from solitude being the youngest of the three children in a Swedish family. The acute sense of solitude makes him desperately want a dog, but before he gets one, he "invents" a friend - the very Karlson who lives upon the roof. So typical for the Russian culture spirit of mischief, which is, actually, never punished, and the notion that relative welfare not necessarily means happiness made the book by Astrid Lindgren and its TV adaptations tremendously popular in the Soviet Union and nowadays Russia and vice versa - somewhat alienated to the Western reader and viewer (see User's comments below). However, both the book and the cartoon are truly universal - entertaining and funny for the children and thought-provoking and somewhat sad for grownups.

In a long flashback, a New York publisher is in Venice pursuing the lost love letters of an early-19th-century poet, Jeffrey Ashton, who disappeared mysteriously. Using a false name, Lewis Venable rents a room from Juliana Bordereau, once Jeffrey Ashton's lover, now an aged recluse. Running the household is Juliana's severe niece, Tina, who mistrusts Venable from the first moment. He realizes all is not right when late one night he finds Tina, her hair unpinned and wild, at the piano. She calls him Jeffrey and throws herself at him. The family priest warns Venable to tread carefully around her fantasies, but he wants the letters at any cost, even Tina's sanity.

Chief accountant Porfiry Petrovich Smirnov-Alyansky, who took a good walk on the anniversary of his colleague cashier Ivan Zakharovich Vodnev, climbs into the traffic controller's booth and disrupts traffic on one of the streets of Leningrad. However, the guard Vasiliy Shaneshkin mistakenly delivers to the police station not an escaped offender, but a quite decent cashier. The film consists of three independent parts: "Workmate", "Déjà vu" and "Operation Y". The plot follows the adventures of Shurik (alternative spelling — Shourick), the naive and nerdy Soviet student who often gets into ludicrous situations but always finds a way out very neatly. "Operation Y and Shurik's Other Adventures" was a hit movie and became the leader of Soviet film distribution in 1965.

Ali kommer fra en flække langt ude på landet i Iowa og får job som servitrice i The Burlesque Lounge, men der går ikke lang tid, før Ali har tabt sit hjerte totalt til det farverige miljø. Så med hjælp fra nyfundne venner kommer den dag, hvor Ali sniger sig op i rampelyset for at aflægge prøve. Og fra dét øjeblik er hendes skæbne uløseligt forbundet med Tess' og The Burlesque Lounge ... 'Burlesque' er Christina Aguileras debut på film og er også med Kristen Bell fra 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall'.

Hun får et råd af en medhjælper på gården (han er vidstnok halvtredsenstyvendedel indianer af én eller anden slags): Hyr en revolvermand! Det gør hun så og da hun har læst om Kid Shelleen, ja så skriver hun til ham. Men han er alt andet end hvad hun havde drømt om. Gammel, slidt, brugt og lugter fælt!

Filmen handler om den dæmoniske teltholder Dr. Caligari, der fremviser søvngængeren Cesare på markedspladser, og om, hvordan det afsløres, at han får Cesare til at myrde for sig. Dr. Caligari blev det igangsættende hovedværk i den tyske filmekspressionisme med sit tyran-tema og sine malede kulisser, grotesk forvrængede scenerier og stærkt stiliserede spil.
