Det er sommer på Krageøen og Trunte bliver overlykkelig, sa hun får en sælunge af Vesterman. Hun døber straks sælungen Moses, som bliver alles lille kæledægge på Krageøen. Med da Vesterman får at vide, at han kan sælge sælen og få flere hundrede kroner for den, vil han have den tilbage. Det har Trunte bestemt ikke tænkt sig at gå med til, så sammen med Pelle og Stine gemmer hun Moses...
